• Apple's giving away AirPods with any iPad Air purchase, and you can upgrade to AirPods Pro for $90 extra. It's effectively a discount in the $130 to $160 for both devices. Compared to the baseline iPad, the iPad Air is a step-up in speed, display quality, and Facetime camera quality.
• The Roku Ultra streaming box is down to $69 from Amazon, which is $31 off the regular price. Although it was on sale for $50 during Black Friday, it hasn't been this cheap since. It's only a little faster than cheaper Roku models, but its programmable shortcut buttons, ethernet port, and USB port for local media playback help set it apart. Here's my review.
• Speaking of cheaper options, the Roku Streaming Stick+ has returned to its typical sale price of $39, versus $50 normally. Like the Ultra, it supports 4K HDR video playback, but without all the extra ports, programmable remote buttons, or headphone jack in the remote for private listening.
• Amazon's latest Fire HD 8 tablet is on sale for $60, which is $30 off the usual price. It's a good deal on a cheap, basic tablet for media and e-books.
• Newegg has Anker's Liberty Air wireless earbuds on sale for $30 with the coupon code MKTCEV. CNet gave them a solid review even at their original price of $80.
